The Pogoplug POGO-P01 media sharing device is a compact device that allows you to access your photos, movies and music over the Internet. The magenta and silver box connects to your Internet router via Ethernet cable. Just connect a hard drive or flash drive in any of its four USB 2.0 ports and you can access all stored files from anywhere can access the Internet.

The Pogoplug can be configured in minutes. The installation program detects web-based device on your network, and lets you create a username and password so you can safely access their files from any web browser, anywhere. Mobile access is also available through the iPhone, iPod Touch, Android, Palm and Blackberry.

Photos, videos and music can be easily seen – the Pogoplug automatically find hard drives connected. You can also browse the drives manually, allowing you to download any file stored, regardless of type. No hidden charges with the Pogoplug for remote access – the account is free, ensuring that your only cost for the device is the cost of the device itself.

Optional software is available for Mac, Windows or Linux. Provides desktop access to the drives connected to Pogoplug, and can also copy files to the files stored on your hard Pogoplug automatically. Just set “seen” folders – files added to the folders are automatically copied to a device on the Pogoplug, ensuring that your latest downloads are available remotely.
