Panasonic Systems Asia Pacific recently previewed the world’s first integrated twin-lens 3D camera recorder at Resorts World Sentosa in Singapore. By integrating the lenses, camera head and memory card recorder, the new full-HD 3D camera recorder offers a more compact, lightweight alternative to current professional 3D systems, according to Panasonic.
Equipped with convergence-point adjustment, Panasonic’s new 3D camera recorder also simplifies recalibration of 3D images with its automatic horizontal and vertical displacement correction functions. The production workflow also benefits with the 3D camera recorder’s solid-state memory file-based recording system.

Panasonic first announced its new integrated 3D camera recorder at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas earlier this year. The made-to-order camera recorder is expected to enter production in autumn.
